Dr. Rebecca Ryun

Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Ryun is a Licensed Educational Psychologist, Co-Founder, and Co-CEO of CultivatED Minds. Holding a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Educational Psychology, Becky specializes in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, executive functioning, anxiety, depression, and other learning and emotional differences. She has a particular passion for autism assessment and helping families better understand the unique strengths and support needs of neurodivergent children and adolescents.

With over 25 years of experience advocating for children and families and 23 years as a practicing school psychologist, Becky has developed expertise in evaluating autistic children and adolescents across a wide range of presentations, including high-masking individuals, twice-exceptional (2e) learners, and children whose strengths may have delayed recognition of their support needs. She understands that every child experiences the world differently and believes evaluations should do more than identify a diagnosis—they should tell the story of how a child learns, communicates, connects, and thrives. Her comprehensive evaluations examine the social, emotional, behavioral, and educational impact of neurodivergence, providing individualized, strengths-based recommendations that help children succeed at home, in school, and in their communities.

Becky is also recognized for her expertise in evaluating dyslexia and dysgraphia. She is known for identifying the underlying cognitive and linguistic processes contributing to reading and writing difficulties, allowing her to recommend evidence-based interventions tailored to each learner's unique profile. Her goal is to help families and schools move beyond simply identifying a learning difference to understanding which interventions and supports are most likely to help each child succeed.

Becky also serves as an adjunct professor at the university level, where she educates and mentors future school psychologists. Families appreciate her warm, collaborative approach and her ability to translate complex assessment findings into meaningful, practical guidance. She believes every child deserves to be understood, valued, and supported in ways that honor their individual strengths. Becky also serves as a board member of Creative Alternatives, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the community.

Nicole Moren

Nicole is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Co-Founder/CEO of CultivatED Minds. Holding an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree, she specializes in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for complex learning profiles, with particular expertise in ADHD, co-occurring autism and ADHD (AuDHD), dyslexia, dysgraphia, intellectual disabilities, and other learning differences.

Nicole has a particular passion for ADHD and AuDHD assessment, especially when a child’s profile is complicated by overlapping academic, executive functioning, behavioral, or developmental concerns. She is skilled at looking across multiple areas of functioning to determine how different needs may be interacting and to help families better understand the full picture of how their child learns.

With nearly 20 years of experience in education, Nicole has worked across school districts throughout Central California and the Bay Area and has developed strong expertise in complex assessment, school-based decision-making, and translating evaluation findings into practical educational recommendations. She also has experience conducting evaluations in the context of due process and other high-stakes educational decisions. 

Her commitment to this work is both professional and personal. Growing up in a family of educators, becoming an aunt to a nephew with an intellectual disability and cerebral palsy, and navigating the educational system with her own children have all shaped the way she approaches families—with both expertise and empathy. 

Nicole believes a strong evaluation should do more than identify a diagnosis or area of need—it should create clarity. Her goal is to help families understand how their child learns, why certain challenges occur, and what supports are most likely to make a meaningful difference. She wants families to leave the process with usable answers, a clear path forward, and greater confidence in advocating for their child.
